LETTER FROM OUR CEO
Welcome to Frode Laursen’s 1) Sustainability Report
2025, covering 2024. The report 2) provides an insight
into our Environmental, Social and Governance
(ESG) efforts.
2024 was an eventful year for Frode Laursen. It
included committing to the Science Based Targets
Initiative and ensuring we are prepared for future
CSRD reporting. At the same time, we achieved significant improvements in the field of sustainability.
Importantly, we are way ahead of schedule on
our ambitious goal, set in 2020, of reducing our Scope
1 & 2 CO2e emissions by 35% before 2030!
In 2024, more than one third of our own haulage
journeys used alternative fuels in 2024. We are proud
of this achievement, which no one else in our industry is close to matching! As a result, our total Scope
1 & 2 CO2e emissions were reduced by 16% in 2024.
Since 2020, we have reduced our Scope 1 & 2 CO2e
emissions by 37% – and we have achieved our goal of
a 35% reduction six years ahead of schedule.
During the same period, we have improved our
energy intensity – or the amount of CO2 emissions we
emit per pallet handled – by 13% from 2023 to 2024.
Compared with 2020, that’s a reduction of 32%, taking
us very close to our goal of a 35% reduction by 2030.
Much of this progress has been made in close
collaboration with customers, who share our commitment to strengthening sustainability in logistics. We
are proud to deliver such tangible results, showing
that our collective efforts are making a real difference. However, we’re not stopping there – we need
to keep up progress, while setting ambitious new
goals. Consequently, we will reassess our objectives
in 2025, to ensure we are supporting our aim of
creating real change.
We have already achieved significant improvements by using alternative fuels, and new legislation
will provide us with even greater opportunities to
accelerate our green transition.
With this in mind, we invested heavily in new
equipment during 2024, including EMS2 road trains
and longer trailers, known as 14.9 trailers.

2) This report constitutes the statutory reporting as per §99a of the Danish Financial Statements Act for TA-Logistics A/S and Frode Laursen A/S.
Any time we can transport two fully loaded
trailers using a single tractor unit or increase capacity by three extra pallets per run, this represents a
substantial reduction in carbon footprint per pallet.
We expect these investments to have a clear positive
effect on our future carbon accounts.
However, sustainability is not just about the
climate – it’s also about people. At Frode Laursen, our
aim has always been to create an inclusive workplace,
where everyone feels at home. I am therefore also
proud that our efforts to include individuals from the
edge of the labour market were recognised in 2024.
Across our locations, dedicated employees make a
difference on a daily basis, and their contributions
were celebrated when we received a nomination for
Cabi’s CSR People Prize 2024.
This nomination resulted from our Danish initiatives, including working with local authorities and
job centres to provide job training for individuals.
However, our efforts extend beyond Denmark: all
our logistics centres in Sweden work closely with
