Green Warehouse Vision II
These initiatives include:
• Installation of solar panels to support a more sustainable
energy supply.
• Installation of nest boxes for tawny owls and kestrels to reduce
the use of poisons for preventive pest control.
• Construction of external walls using steel panels with CO2neutral insulation instead of concrete.
• Installation of a NOXOUT roof to help reduce air pollution by
breaking down NOx particles from traffic. The UV rays from the
sun transform the NOx particles into nitrate, which is washed
away by rain.
• Using a white roof instead of a standard black roof to reduce heat
absorption and energy consumption in the warmer months.
• Beams and panels to be produced using a high level of
recycled steel content.
• Rainwater recycling for use in toilets, for truck washing and
for cleaning.

Environment
In 2024, we began constructing our new logistics centre in Vejle,
adhering to our Green Warehouse Vision II principles. The logistics
centre has been designed with a focus on sustainable solutions and
will achieve DGNB Gold certification.
Building according to our Green Warehouse Vision II involves
implementing several sustainability initiatives to reduce our environmental impact during both the construction phase and in future
operation.
