Sustainability
at Frode Laursen
At Frode Laursen, we actively strive to make a difference. Our sustainability strategy
supports our mission to ensure the responsible transport of goods from factory to
consumer. We operate a responsible business based on ESG (Environmental, Social
and Governance) parameters.

SUSTAINABILITY IN FRODE LAURSEN
At the same time, we focus specifically on areas in
which we can make the most significant impact – for
both ourselves and our customers. Consequently,
UN Sustainable Development Goals 8 ‘Decent work
and economic growth’ and 13 ‘Climate action’ are part
of our strategic focus.
In 2024, we enhanced our sustainability strategy
by adding a double materiality assessment, paving
the way for our future reporting in accordance with
CSRD. In line with our current sustainability strategy,
this assessment identified climate, pollution, waste,
working conditions and corporate culture as central
areas for Frode Laursen. It proved to be a comprehensive, but valuable, process, involving large parts of
our organisation and thus ensuring further consolidation of our sustainability work.
Decent jobs for everyone (SDG 8) Sustainable logistics (SDG 13)
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity for meaningful work. We want to offer secure and
decent jobs to all our employees. At the same time,
we strive to make a positive difference in our local
communities by recruiting, integrating and retaining employees, including those who may face an
increased risk of falling out of the labour market due
to reduced work capacity or other challenges.
We take an ethical and responsible approach to
running our business. It is essential to us that both
our employees and suppliers share our values of
responsibility, decency and respect for human rights.
We aim to actively participate in addressing the
global climate challenge and reducing CO2e emissions resulting from our activities. To achieve this,
we constantly explore new possibilities, such as alternative fuel for our trucks and the latest technology
that can help reduce our carbon footprint.
We also focus on employee behaviour, ensuring
that our transport divisions and logistics centres
operate as efficiently as possible in reducing our
environmental impact.
