Thorkil is not the only one who has impressed
Kenneth over the years. The same goes for the
employees on the warehouse floor.
“The packing girls really impress me. Walking through the hall, you can see people who
have been here for 25 to 30 years. They’re here
every day smiling and singing. I think many of
them like to be here because it’s so flexible. You
can say, ‘I’m a bit tired of this, can I move to
another department?’ In other warehouses, you
could be standing there day aer day looking at
the same belt running past.”
While Kenneth Jensen still comes by and
says hello sometimes in the logistics centre in
Jyderup, he no longer works there. He took early
retirement in the summer of 2023.
