Hørning also has a customer who is slightly
different from the consumer goods Frode
Laursen typically handles. When Royal Arctic
Line decided to move its shipping of goods
to Greenland from Aalborg to the port of
Aarhus, Frode Laursen bid for the handling of
refrigerated goods. Frode was awarded the job,
and in the autumn of 2021, the first load was
dispatched. During the summer period some 30
to 40 containers are packed with refrigerated
goods. In winter, when the ships cannot sail so
far north due to the ice, the volume of goods
drops.
